Government Funding Policy Update for Cygnets, Swans and Pre-School Rooms
In response to valuable feedback from our parent community, I am pleased to announce that we have revised our policy to allow children to utilise up to 10 hours of government-funded childcare per day across any of our available sessions. This change aims to provide greater flexibility to accommodate your childcare needs.
Meals and Packed Lunches
If you choose to use your Government Funding for any of the mealtime sessions, and require us to provide the food, you will incur an additional cost. To ensure your child has a nutritious and enjoyable mealtime experience, we offer the following options:
- Breakfast: £1.50
- Lunch: £2.50
- Tea: £1.50
Alternatively, you are welcome to provide a packed lunch for your child. Please note:
- Storage and Heating: We do not have facilities to refrigerate or reheat food. Therefore, please ensure that any packed lunch items are suitable for consumption without refrigeration or reheating or provide cool packs within the lunchbox.
- Healthy Eating Policy: We kindly ask that all packed lunches adhere to our Healthy Eating Policy, which encourages balanced and nutritious meals. This includes providing a variety of food groups and avoiding items such as sweets, crisps, and sugary drinks.
By working together, we can continue to support your child's health and well-being during their time with us. For invoicing purposes you will need to stick to our nursery provider or packed lunches for mealtimes and not swap between the two.
